At Black Lab, we operate Windows-based systems directly connected to high-speed NVMe RAID storage, capable of handling several days of RAW shoot footage. Combined with our powerful render farm, we efficiently process dailies across multiple camera formats, from 2K to 8.6K.

We have extensive experience transferring large files via Google Drive, MediaShuttle, Aspera, and other professional platforms, giving you flexible access to your dailies to fit your workflow.

Our in-house data wranglers provide LTO 8/9 backups using industry-grade transfer and checksum software, complete with detailed reports and quality checks at every step. All LTO tapes are stored securely in an access-controlled data vault for maximum peace of mind.

Black Lab’s assistant editors manage footage and sound sync, as well as AVID, Premiere, or Resolve bin preparation—helping you stay ahead in post-production. We also offer raw footage QC with daily reports for producers and camera teams, ensuring smooth operations throughout your shoot.
